ASEAN Mutual Recognition Agreement on Architectural Services

The Practice of Architecture refers to the provision of architectural services in connection with urban planning and the design, construction, conservation, restoration, or alteration of a building or a group of buildings. Subject to the Host Country's domestic regulations, these professional services include, but are not limited to, planning and land-use planning, urban design, the provision of preliminary studies, designs, models, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. It also encompasses the coordination of technical documentation prepared by others (such as consulting engineers, urban planners, landscape architects, and other specialist consultants) as appropriate and without limitation, construction economics, contract administration, as well as the monitoring and supervision of construction and project management.
