Requirements for ACPE Registration
Graduate from an accredited engineering degree recognized by an authorized accreditation body (S-1, S.T. except for agricultural engineer — S.P.).
Possess a current and valid engineer registration (SKK or SKI) to practice as a professional engineer.
Acquired minimum 7 years of practical and diversified experience as a professional engineer after graduation (S-1), consistent with their area of expertise.
At least 2 years in responsible charge of significant engineering work (refer to the guideline provided).
Complied with CPD/PKB at sufficient level as required by applicable laws and norms.
Agrees to be bound by the code of professional conduct and code of professional ethics.

38th CCS Engineering Meeting Reaches Consensus on Digital ACPE Verification System

The 38th Coordinating Committee on Services (CCS) for Engineering convened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where delegates from all 10 ASEAN member states reached a landmark agreement to implement a unified digital verification system for ACPE credentials. The new system will allow employers and institutions to authenticate ACPE certificates in real-time, strengthening trust in cross-border engineering recognition.
